Celebration of Life

We will be celebrating Ron's life on May 20th, 2023 at Tukaluk Campground in Fauquier BC.

1:00 PM we will have an informal ceremony for people to share memories of Ron. This is open to friends and family.

There will be food and refreshments to spend the afternoon in memory of our time spent with Ron.

Ronald (Ron) Wayne Cooper passed away peacefully on February 20th, 2023 at the age of 70.

Ron was born in Calgary, AB to Barbara (Quincey) and Hippolyte (Skip) Murray Cooper. His Siblings are Don, Dianne, Sherly, Sue, and Cheri. His children are David, Stephanie, Duffy and Elliott. His grandchildren Chantell, Travis, Devon, Ceili, Aurelia and Clare and his great grandchildren Presley-Anne, Cheyenne and Jude. He is also survived by his former spouses Gayle, Linda and Angella.

Ron was a graduate of the SAIT Chemical Engineering Technology program and spent most of career in the oil and gas industry. He operated in several facilities throughout Alberta but spent most of his time operating at the Shell In-situ Plant in Peace River. He was also involved in several businesses in the Peace Country area including oil and gas consulting/contract operating, helicopters, auto-body, retail, property development and recreational properties in the West Kootenay.

He was always working on projects, even when semi-retired he bought, further developed and ran Tukaluk campground in Fauquier, BC. He enjoyed bowling, golf, the outdoors, cooking, and entertaining.
